NARS NARSissist Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette

It's not often that I purchase eyeshadow palette. Why ? because I already have so many of them!
But I couldn't resist denying this palette from NARS - NARSissist Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette ($79). Just look at the NARS mirror package, it's so gorgeous!

This palette combines 8 dual intensity eyeshadows and it is a limited edition. These shadows can be applied in either wet or dry. The palette comes with an eyeshadow brush and large mirror. The colors can be worn versatilely from sheer (everyday or natural look) to dramatic for day or evening looks.

NARS claims that these eyeshadows are specially formulated for wearing up to eight hours. Personally, they could last up to many hours if you apply eyeshadow primer before using the eyeshadows. I have used 'Europa' on the middle of my eyelid and applied 'Ursa Major', 'Sycorax' and 'Giove' to make a smoky look. For the lower line, I used 'Subra'

Matte lipstick has been gaining more popular since the fall/winter 2014. If I have to pick a matte lipstick, I will gear toward to a red lipstick. One of the most gorgeous matte red lipsticks is 'Rouge Pur Couture The Mats no. 209" from Yves Saint Laurent. 

This lipstick has been launched since fall/winter 2014. It comes with a gold luxurious package ($36). It is pigmented and gives you a matte radiance but not too matte. If you got a sensitive dry lips like me, this lipstick wouldn't ruin your lips. I think this shade can be wearable for either party or classic red lips looks.
