NARS One Night Stand Blush Palette for Holiday 2013

NARS blush is one of the most incredible blushes in the market. Their brushes are pigmented and they have so many shades. The new release limited edition blush palette for holiday 2013 just has been launched in this autumn/winter and it would probably be sold out soon !!!.

The first 2 blushes are permanent and best-selling colors whereas the 2 latter are limited edition only in this palette. Importantly, the palette also includes best-selling ever bronzer, Laguna. The only highlighter in this palette is Devotee. Personally, this is a very good offer for 6 blushes inclusively in one palette with the price at $65 USD (NARS single blush normally costs $29 USD). This is appropriately as a travel palette with a very big mirror.

Tom Ford Lip Color - Pink Dusk

Personally, the lipstick in Pink Dusk is by far the most gorgeous lip color from Tom Ford. It had been constantly sold out in many counters in London and New York. Yes, it is very expensive but it is worth to purchase (£ 36).
It comes with a luxurious packaging. The texture is so smooth and moisturized. Moreover, It's so perfect for those of you who have dry sensitive lip. The lipstick gives your lip a sleek pink-nude (not too much nude and also not very bright pink). It can be combined with an intense smoke eyes or with everyday look.

Burberry Eye Palette no. 5 Dark Spice

After reviewing a lot on lipsticks, here it's time to move on to eye shadow. This is the Complete Eye Palette - Dark Spice no.5 from Burberry Beauty (£40 for a palette). I love the package and the palette itself which is kind of gun metal. The palette comes with a small bag with 3 eye shadow applicators which I think it's not much useful because they are too small and not much practical to use. So I prefer to apply them with my own eye shadow brushes. The customized quartet palette contains densely pigmented eye colors; luminising base highlighter, red brown and dark brown to add shape, and black color for intense liner and making smoky eyes. 

The formula of the eye colors is satin smooth silicones and quite creamy when apply on eye lid. The eye shadows are coordinated very well and enrich the skin and remain vibrant all day. 

I had paired the eye colors with red, deep pink, and pink nude lip colors and they best match with the pink nude lips. The colors are wearable for both day and night looks. In order to create a night look, I just added more dark colors to make the smoky look. One of my all time makeup gurus on youtube, Momay Pa Plean, said that this eye palette is a very good choice for a sophisticated look in which I do agree ^^

Tom Ford True Coral Lip Color (no. 9)

If you like red lipstick but not too much of intense red. This is the solution, Tom Ford lip color in True Coral (no. 9). The color comes with red/orange. It shows up on the lips as pinkish-bright red mixed with slightly orange. The formula is very smooth and it helps to moisturize the lips and makes the dewy lip look. So if you prefer matt red lip, you should not go for this. I think it pairs very well with sunglasses giving a effortlessly sexy look. It is also wearable on the lazy day that I would like wearing eyeglasses and wearing no makeup. 

Excellent fashion show from BURBERRY A/W 2013

"Burberry Prosum" Fashion Show Autumn Winter 2013

Love the show, love the songs, love the clothes and really impressed with make-up. Those were my expression once I'd seen this flawless fashion show from "Burberry Prosum" autumn winter 2013 from London fashion week. The show started with an acoustic version of 'Happy together' by Misty Miller, followed with 'Picking up the pieces' acoustic session by Paloma Faith and ended up by Tom Odell's 'Hold me'. Especially, the last song, it was a live performance with piano and excellent defined chorus and, furthermore, it was perfectly selected as finale. 

The make-up is really gorgeous. The overall look is a combination of natural eyes, illuminating face and nude beige lip. Those complement the models almost like they are wearing make-up no make-up, meanwhile the models look so effortlessly beautiful. Beauty - The Burberry Prorsum Womenswear A/W13 Show

About the clothes, I'm impressed by various pencil skirts especially the translucent rubber skirt. Moreover, the 'Heart print silk shirt dress' and the 'Translucent rubber dress' in oxblood color (kind of dark shade of red) are exceptionally beautiful !!!.

The magic of makeup

Doing makeup, it's like you have a magic wand to transform your face. I hadn't known much about makeup until a year ago when I started to watch makeup tutorials from youtube. Those tutorials and many makeup gurus inspired me to do my own makeup. Here, what I'm capable to do nowadays. 

I'm always happy and relax when I do makeup. It might be the similar feeling when artists draw picture. Makeup also enhances my confidence and sometimes boosts me up from feeling blue. However makeup is very useful, it's important to note that makeup is only admirable when you do it in the right place and right time.

Still obsessed with nude color - Tom Ford nail polish in Mink Brule

First of all, I have to say that I'm not a big fan of manicure. Until I found this adorable nail polish - Tom Ford nail polish in Mink Brule (no. 3) - I can't help but just purchase it. The color is a combination of beige nude with slightly pink. I have tried some other nail polishes and all of them always made my nails dry after using nail polish remover but it never happens with this manicure from Tom Ford. The color matches with every outfits and It is wearable in all occasions as well.

Tom Ford lip color in Spanish Pink

I got this Tom Ford lip color in Spanish Pink today - I just can't wait to write about it. I had to ordered it online via House of Fraser website as it has been completely sold out. Like my previous purchased TF lipstick, the formula is really good and again never leave my lip getting dry at the end of the day. It gives my lip kind of peachy pink and embrace my soft pink & taupe eye shadow today. The texture is quite creamy and, furthermore, able to make my lip shining without any lip gloss on top. I've been on the hunt for the fantastic pink lipstick. Finally I found it !!!

Gorgeous nude lip

This is a lip gloss from Chanel glossimer in Sweet Beige (no. 297). It's color is as lovely as Tom Ford in Sable Smoke (my previous post). It will give your lip kind of nude and beige with slightly gold shimmer. I love the color and texture as it is not too much sticky like some lip gloss that I've tried previously. Importantly, it is enhancing very well when applying on top of Tom Ford lipstick in Sable Smoke.

Tom Ford Lipstick in Sable Smoke (no. 14)

I have been really obsessed with this luxurious lipstick from Tom Ford. I initially wanted to purchase it in Pink Dusk but that color are completely sold out. So I bought another substitutional color called Sable Smoke (no. 14). It is a kind of honey nude color. It is so gorgeous and complement with my lip color. The texture of this lipstick is very smooth and never leave my lip getting dry. I have to say that it is incredible expensive for just a lipstick (£36.00) but it's worth to have in your make up bag, I would say ^^
